Security is an important part of our product development and maintenance process. We continuously evaluate potential security risks and work to improve the security of our products throughout their supported lifecycle.

We welcome responsible security research and encourage security researchers, customers, and other parties to report potential security vulnerabilities affecting MatataXplore products.

Vulnerability Disclosure Policy

MatataXplore supports coordinated vulnerability disclosure and encourages responsible reporting of security issues.

If you discover a potential security vulnerability affecting a MatataXplore product, firmware, software, application, or related service, please report it to our security team.

Our goal is to work collaboratively with security researchers and customers to investigate reported vulnerabilities, provide appropriate remediation, and improve the security of our products.

How to Report a Security Vulnerability

When submitting a vulnerability report, please include the following information where available:

  • Product name and model
  • Firmware or software version
  • Description of the potential vulnerability
  • Steps required to reproduce the issue
  • Potential security impact
  • Supporting information, such as screenshots, logs, or proof-of-concept information where applicable

Providing detailed information helps us investigate and resolve reported issues more efficiently.

Scope

This vulnerability disclosure policy applies to MatataXplore consumer products and related software components, including, where applicable:

  • Hardware products
  • Device firmware
  • Mobile applications
  • Product-related software
  • Online services supporting MatataXplore products

Vulnerability Response Process

1. Acknowledgement

We aim to acknowledge receipt of a vulnerability report within 5 business days.

2. Investigation and Assessment

Our team will review the reported issue and evaluate:

  • Vulnerability validity
  • Affected products
  • Security impact
  • Severity level
  • Required remediation actions

3. Status Updates

During the investigation and remediation process, MatataXplore will provide status updates:

  • At least every 14 days, or
  • Whenever there is a significant change in the status of the investigation

Status updates will continue until the reported security issue is resolved or otherwise closed.

4. Remediation

Security fixes will be developed and released within a reasonable timeframe based on:

  • Vulnerability severity
  • Potential customer impact
  • Technical complexity of remediation

Responsible Disclosure Guidelines

To help protect our customers, we request that security researchers:

  • Avoid accessing, modifying, deleting, or exposing other users’ data.
  • Avoid performing actions that may impact product or service availability.
  • Avoid publicly disclosing vulnerability details before MatataXplore has had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate the issue.
  • Provide reasonable time for MatataXplore to address reported vulnerabilities.
