- SanDisk Extreme V30 A1 — 32 GB
- SanDisk Extreme Pro V30 A1 — 64 GB
- SanDisk Extreme V30 A2 — 64 GB / 128 GB

How do I charge the binoculars?
Open the USB port cover and connect a USB-C cable to a power adapter. We recommend using a 5V/2A adapter for safe, stable charging. Only charge using a single power source at a time. The indicator glows red while charging and turns green when fully charged.
What functions does the touchscreen provide?
The touchscreen shows the live viewfinder and system status, including Wi-Fi, battery, and microSD card indicators. You can tap or swipe to access system settings, recognition history, and your photo and video gallery.
What do the indicator light colors mean?
Solid blue means normal operation. Flashing blue means video recording is in progress. Solid red means charging. Solid green means the battery is sufficiently or fully charged.
Can I manually control exposure and image quality?
Yes. The binoculars support ISO Priority mode (ISO 100–6400), Shutter Priority mode (1/30s to 1/2000s), Manual mode, and Exposure Value (EV) adjustment from -5 to +5.
In addition, Manual mode allows you to further fine-tune settings like shutter speed and white balance (including presets from 2700K to 7500K), giving you flexible control over exposure and overall image quality in different shooting conditions.
What is the benefit of using RAW photo format?
RAW saves higher-data image files for advanced color correction and professional editing (for example, in Photoshop). Standard mode saves JPEG files for quick viewing and sharing.
Are there scene-specific shooting modes?
Yes. Scene Modes include Auto, Birdwatching, Stage, and Event, each optimized for different environments.
What shooting modes are available?
Tap the Photo Settings icon to choose an exposure mode:
Auto Action — best for birds or animals in motion.
Auto Handheld — ideal for everyday handheld birdwatching.
Auto Static — designed for tripod-mounted, longer-exposure shots.
Manual — full control over ISO (100–6400), shutter speed (1/30s–1/2000s), and white balance.
How do I prevent glare or dark spots when shooting?
Glare or dark spots can appear under certain lighting angles. Simply adjust the angle of the binoculars relative to the light source. This is a normal optical characteristic, not a product defect.
How does AI bird recognition work?
In Photo Detail View, press the AI Recognition button (labeled “Ai”) to run on-device bird identification. Results and confidence scores appear on screen. Tap the AI Log Center icon from the main view to review your full recognition history. For advanced cloud-based AI recognition and image enhancement, connect to the Solvia App.
Is AI recognition always accurate?
No. AI recognition cannot guarantee 100% accuracy. Results can be affected by distance, lighting, image quality, motion blur, and visual obstruction.
Under what conditions does AI recognition work best?
It works best when the bird is clearly visible and unobstructed, occupies 5% of the frame, and the image has good lighting with minimal motion blur.
In what situations might AI recognition fail or show "Uncertain"?
This may happen when the bird is too small in the frame (2%~3%), the image is blurry/shaky/backlit, or more than 50% of the bird is blocked by leaves or other objects.
Why does the AI sometimes give multiple possible results?
This can happen with juvenile birds, differences between males and females, seasonal plumage changes, or very rare species with limited training data. Results are for reference only.
Can AI recognition results be used for scientific research?
No. AI recognition is intended for reference and educational purposes only, not research-grade identification.
Can I control the binoculars from my phone?
Yes. Download the Solvia App (iOS 15.0+ or Android 7.0+) from your phone’s app store. Enable Wi-Fi on the binoculars via the Settings icon, then tap Connect in the app. Once paired, you can stream live HD footage, adjust camera settings remotely, export media, and access cloud AI recognition and image enhancement features.
What are the benefits of using the Solvia App?
The app supports HD live streaming, remote camera control, media export, cloud-based AI recognition, and image enhancement.
How do I transfer photos and videos to my computer?
You can transfer files by USB-C using USB Connection Mode, or transfer wirelessly using Wi-Fi Fast Transfer through the Solvia App.
What is Gyroscope Calibration used for?
Gyroscope Calibration aligns the internal gyroscope to enable Gyro Anti-shake and real-time correction of stitched images.
What should I do if my settings are incorrect or disordered?
Select Reset to Defaults in system settings to restore the device to factory configuration.
How long does the battery last and how can I save the power?
Solvia 8×32 battery life is up to 12 hours under standard use (about 4 hours with heavy use); with the Field Kit, it extends to up to 20 hours under standard use (about 8 hours with heavy use).
You can extend battery life by lowering screen brightness or enabling Auto Power-Off in system settings.
How do I update the firmware?
- Ensure battery level is above 20% before starting.
- Connect the binoculars to the Solvia App.
- When the app notifies you of a new firmware version, tap to begin and follow the on-screen instructions.
- The update typically takes about 3 minutes. Do not power off during the process.
How should I store the binoculars long-term?
If you plan to store the device for an extended period, fully charge it before storage and recharge it at least once every three months to maintain battery health. Store in the included carrying case away from high temperatures, humidity, and strong magnetic fields.
Is the device waterproof?
The Solvia 8×32 is rated IP64 and offers basic splash resistance. It is not submersible. Avoid exposing the device to heavy rain or immersing it in water. If the device contacts water, immediately power it off and contact customer support.
Can children use this product?
The product is not suitable for children under 3 years old. Older children should use the device only under adult supervision.
How should I clean the binoculars?
Wipe exterior surfaces with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Avoid water, solvents, or abrasive materials. Keep lenses free from dust and sand — contamination can scratch glass and cause issues. When not in use, always replace the eyepiece and objective lens caps and store the unit in its dedicated carrying case.
How do I safely remove the microSD card?
Always power off the device before inserting or removing the microSD card. Hot-plugging (removing the card while powered on) risks data loss and can shorten the card’s lifespan. To eject, gently push the card inward until it clicks and partially releases from the slot.
